QMUL stands for Queen Mary, University of London. It is one of UK’s leading research-focused higher education institutions.
QMUL Language Scholarships are available for the academic year 2017-2018. These scholarships are awarded for pursuing the undergraduate program to students who wish to learn a language in addition to their main program of study.
Number of Scholarships: 108 scholarships are available.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The scheme is being offered to undergraduate students. It is primarily aimed at students who have completed at least one year of study and are familiar with the workloads at university
- Previous scholarship recipients can apply again
Nationality: open to International students.
Admission Requirement
- Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
- English language Requirements: If English is not the first language, the College’s standard requirement for English is IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
How to Apply:
- The applicant needs to complete the diagnostic test if one is applying for French, Japanese, Spanish, German or Chinese
- Completed Scholarship Application Form(form will be available from 2nd May, 2017)
- The form will then be sent to the chosen School/Institute. They will indicate if they are happy to support the application or not.
- All applications should be supported by a student’s home School/Institute
- The final allocation of scholarships will be made by a central panel
