South Australian Government is offering Catherine Helen Spence Memorial Scholarship, 2017  in her honor to students who wish to study.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of Catherine Helen Spence Memorial Scholarship, 2017 must be women of 20-35 years age group.
  • Applicants must live in South Australia.
  • Candidates must have lived in South Australia for a minimum of 5 years before being awarded the scholarship.
  • They must be able to begin the scholarship project by February 2018 – or earlier.
  • Candidates applying for Catherine Helen Spence Memorial Scholarship, 2017 should be able to take up and finish the project within 18months from the commencement i.e  by August 2019.
  • The scholarship must be used to investigate or pursue issues in the field of social sciences related to South Australian social conditions.
  • Applicants need not be currently studying or employed or working with an organization or institution.

  • Resume
  • Proof of qualifications mentioned in the application
  • Research aims in less than 200 words
  • Why the research is needed in less than 200 words
  • The methodology and approach they’d use in the project in less than 500 words
  • Research project description in 2000 words
  • Expected outputs in less than 250 words
  • Bibliography
  • Details of 3 referees
  • A statement of relevance
  • Budget projection
