- The applicants in Monash Pathway programs or transferring from one Monash campus to other are not eligible for this scholarship.
- The students studying Australian Year 12 are also not eligible for this scholarship.
- The candidates applying for Monash International Leadership Scholarship, 2017 are evaluated based on their academic achievement and a statement describing their potential for becoming a representative of Monash University in 500 words.
- The selected students are awarded 100% of the course fee.
