Deakin University os providing Ph.D. Scholarship – New Sizing Agents for Carbon Fibre, 2017 to students interested in conducting research at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) at the University.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of Ph.D. Scholarship – New Sizing Agents for Carbon Fibre, 2017 must have obtained a first class Honours degree or equivalent.
- The scholarship is open only to those undertaking Masters or Doctoral degree full‐time in 2017 who have applied or are intending to apply or are currently enrolled in a higher research degree.
- Applicants who have already begun their graduate research degree should possess a minimum of 12 months full-time or equivalent candidature left.
- Candidates applying for Ph.D. Scholarship – New Sizing Agents for Carbon Fibre, 2017 may also have the knowledge of polymer chemistry, key techniques such as NMR, FTIR, MS, viscosity determination, strength testing.
- Having previous experience in synthetic organic chemistry would be preferred.
