Cardiff University Master’s Excellence Scholarships, 2017 is open to high caliber students who wish to pursue master’s degree at the University.
Eligibility criteria:
- The scholarships are provided only to the full-time and part-time postgraduate taught programs.
- Applicants of Cardiff University Master’s Excellence Scholarships, 2017 must have obtained and firmly accepted an unconditional offer by 11th August.
- Scholarships are open only to self-funding students and students in receipt of full funding from other bodies will be ineligible.
- If the applicant is already receiving full funding from other sources then he/she is not eligible for the scholarship.
- The scholarships are provided only for the first year of study.
- If the applicant withdraws from the course after receiving the scholarship then he/she should refund the given scholarship.
- The following programs are not applicable for the Cardiff University Master’s Excellence Scholarships, 2017:
- Only the master’s stage of a program
- Any distance learning program leading to a master’s
- All Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma courses.
- Scholarship cannot be deferred.
Documents required:
- Cardiff University Student Application Number, Surname/Family Name, First/Given Name, Middle/Any other names, Date of Birth, Email Address, Title of Course/Degree, Academic School applied.
- The pending/most recent qualifications (supporting documents are not required).
- Supporting Statements on topics including why you believe that you should be considered for a Cardiff University Postgraduate Scholarship and why you have chosen Cardiff University as your destination of choice.
- Demonstrate any notable academic success or other significant personal achievements, Demonstrate your awareness of the positive contribution you can make to your community, society, the economy, academia or research as a result of obtaining a Cardiff University qualification.
- The statements should not exceed the word limit of 600
