Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistants (2 Nos.) in the project titled “Development of Low-Cost Iron Based Flow Batteries for Grid Level Energy Storage” funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The Jyothy Institute of Technology is a private engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka, India affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and approved by AICTE – New Delhi.

Course Level: The Eligible candidate may be entitled to register for PhD program of Visvesvaraya Technological University.

Study Subject: Applicants will work on the project titled “Development of Low-Cost Iron Based Flow Batteries for Grid Level Energy Storage”

Scholarship Award: Rs. 25,000/- (Consolidated)

Scholarship can be taken in India


  • Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Chemistry (preferably Inorganic/Physical Chemistry Specialisation) with minimum 60% marks.
  • Desirable Qualification: Good knowledge of Materials Chemistry and Electrochemistry

Nationality: Citizens of India are eligible to apply.
