Central Queensland University is offering CQU Equity Study Grant, 2017 to provide support to students with low personal/family income with the expenses of their undergraduate education
Eligibility criteria:
- The scholarship is open to Australian or New Zealand Citizens or holders of an Australian Permanent Visa.
- Students should demonstrate low personal/family income to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants of CQU Equity Study Grant, 2017 should either be continuing or new enrolling students in a Bachelors program at the University.
- Candidates must be registered on the census date every term.
- Candidates applying for CQU Equity Study Grant, 2017 must be Commonwealth supported students at the University.
- Students must not be in receipt of Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship or neither of Equity Study Supplement or Equity Accommodation Scholarship in Term 1, 2017.
- Students should also not be receiving Centrelink Relocation Scholarship or Residential Costs Option.
- Current students are required to have a GPA of at least 4.0 to be eligible.
Documents required:
- Current Centrelink Income Statement
- Latest Notice of Assessment (if students are in business or obtaining business income)
- 3 current payslips
- Medical report or Centrelink Income Statement
- personal or business bank account statements of last 3 months
- Most recent Tax Return (if students or their partners are n receipt of business income)
