iYeats International Poetry Competition, 2017 is an annual competition and has gained recognition for the caliber of the participants and the judges. An award of €500 for the general category and an award of €300 for the emerging category is to be given. Ages between 16-25 are considered emerging. These awards will be presented at the Hawk’s Well during the Yeats Summer School during the ceremony.
Eligibility:
- Applicants of iYeats International Poetry Competition, 2017 should be 16 and above
Terms and conditions:
- submission is through online only
- word limit is 40 lines and the document should be an MS Word file
- multiple prizes can be awarded to the same person
- poems should not be original and not have been published anywhere
- general category is open to all entrants
- emerging category is confined to the age group of 16-25
- the decision made by the judge is final
- once work has been submitted, no correspondence will be entered into
- poems are final once submitted
- payment must be made in Euros only
- Applicants of iYeats International Poetry Competition, 2017 should accept the T&C once they enter the competition
