Monash University – China Scholarship Council (CSC) Doctoral Scholarship Program, 2017 is open to high-quality Chinese students who wish to undertake Ph.D. at the University.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of Monash University – China Scholarship Council (CSC) Doctoral Scholarship Program, 2017 must be citizens or permanent residents of China.
  • The age of the applicants must not be more than 35 years.
  • Applicants must return to the People’s Republic of China upon their degree completion.
  • Candidates applying for Monash University – China Scholarship Council (CSC) Doctoral Scholarship Program, 2017 must intend to pursue research in one of the research areas of the CSC.
  • H1 equivalent qualifications must be obtained by the applicants for admission into the Ph.D. program.
  • English language proficiency requirements must be met.
  • Applicants must fulfill the CSC selection criteria.

Value of the scholarship:

  • An annual living allowance of approximately $AUD20,400
  • Full tuition fee sponsorship
  • Overseas Student Health Cover
  • living allowance (stipend) per year
  • Return airfare between China and Melbourne
  • Visa application fees
