The University of Technology Sydney is offering UTS International Research Scholarship, 2017 to high-quality applicants who wish to work in the fields of research strengths of the University.

Eligibility criteria:

  • The scholarship is open to an overseas student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth).
  • Applicants of UTS International Research Scholarship, 2017 must purchase and maintain a standard OSHC policy approved by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Ageing.
  • The candidate must be commencing full-time enrolment in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at UTS.
  • Applicants must be taking up study in a subject identified by the University as one of its areas of research concentration.
  • The applicant must not hold a research qualification equivalent to an Australian research doctorate.
  • Must not have held an Australian Agency for International Development scholarship within the two years before commencing the UTS IRS.
  • Candidates should not be receiving a scholarship for which course tuition is a component under any other scholarship scheme to which the Australian Government makes a substantial contribution.
  • Applicants of UTS International Research Scholarship, 2017 must not have previously have received a UTS IRS for a research doctorate.
