University of Waikato and Institute of Healthy Ageing Ph.D. Scholarship, 2017 is open to candidates with interests in mental health, older people in the community, and/or workforce development.
Eligibility criteria:
- The scholarship is open to citizens and permanent residents of New Zealand and international students residing in Waikato.
- Applicants of University of Waikato and Institute of Healthy Ageing Ph.D. Scholarship, 2017 must be enrolling in Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) on a full-time basis at the University in 2017.
- Candidates applying for University of Waikato and Institute of Healthy Ageing Ph.D. Scholarship, 2017 must have completed or are expecting to complete an Honours or Masters degree in a field related to the Institute of Healthy Ageing.

- Application to enroll in Ph.D. program
- Personal Statement
- 2 academic references out of which one must be from either proposed Ph.D. Chief Supervisor or a member of the academic staff at the institution they studied
