The Government of Poland, through the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, offers partial scholarships to students from Kenya, Burundi, the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania and Uganda. These scholarships are available to apply for bachelor, master and doctoral degree.

The aim of the scholarships is to promote Poland as prospective study and research destination.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate, master and PhD programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the fields offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: These scholarships only cover the costs of studies which means that students are obliged to bear all the costs of travel (plane ticket, insurance and visa fee) and living in Poland (estimated at around 400 EUR monthly).

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for these scholarships:

  • Prospective candidates should not be older than 24 years at the time of submitting their applications for the BA, BSc and Master or equivalent degree studies and not older than 32 years for PhD studies.

Nationality: Applicants of Kenya, Burundi, the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania and Uganda can apply for the scholarships.

  • Letters of recommendation from 2 teachers/professors

The university of Kent is offering Pathway Entry Scholarships, 2017 for students to pursue pre-Master’s program or (September-start/January-start) International Foundation Program.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates applying for  Pathway Entry Scholarships, 2017 must have accepted a conditional offer of either IFP or pre-Master’s program.
  • For IFP program starting in September, the deadline is 30 June 2017 while the deadline is 30 November 2017 for the September-start IFP program.

  • Do not currently have any other scholarship, grant or financial assistance (this excludes EPF withdrawals or loans-based assistance including government grants)
  • Have an approved Malaysian visa (international applicants)
  • If required, be available to attend a panel interview at HWUM

Nationality: Malaysian students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

English Language Requirements: If you have not already studied a degree programme that was taught and examined in the medium of English we require evidence of language proficiency. For IELTS: the minimum overall IELTS score is 6.5 with no score lower than 6.0 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
