  • Eliza Ritchie Doctoral Entrance Scholarship is intended for female applicants of Canadian origin.

Mitacs Globalink Research Internship: Mitacs call for 2018 Globalink Research Internship faculty submissions is now open. Professors may submit projects for the internship.

Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative for international undergraduates from Australia, Brazil, China, France, India, Germany, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. From May to September every year, high ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the guidance of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines (Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Mathematics).

These Internships are currently available at over 45 universities across Canada.

Guidelines for Students:

The student applicants must:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be enrolled in full-time UG or combined undergraduate/Master’s programs

Killam Postdoc Research Fellowship Scheme at the University of British Columbia

The Killam Scholarship & Prize Programs has announced postdoc research fellowship for candidates of all nationalities. Aim of this scheme is to support advanced education and research at the five Canadian universities and Canada Council for the Arts.

The Postdoctoral Fellowships are provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies and are available for most fields of research.

The number of new awards offered each year presently varies between three and five.

Annual Value: $50,000 annual stipend for a max. of 2 years, plus a travel research allowance of $4,000 over 2 years

The Organization of American States is pleased to offer partial scholarships to qualified applicants of Bahamas to participate in certificates, undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the United States and Canada.

The Bahamas Scholarship Program aims to help them to achieve the best education and improve their skills.

The OAS General Secretariat (GS/OAS) is the central and permanent organ of the Organization of American States (OAS). Through its Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE), the GS/OAS supports the OAS Member States in creating policies and executing programs that promote human capacity development at all educational levels.

Course Level: This scholarship is available to pursue certificates, undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

  • The degree must be contributing to HIV implementation science, along with the following areas: public administration, public health (including epidemiology or biostatistics), health economics, health administration, health care, global health, and rehabilitation professions (e.g., nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, social work).

Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph is conducting OVC Scholarship Competition, 2017 to support interested students to take up OVC graduate programs and to participate in funded research projects.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of OVC Scholarship Competition, 2017 must be nationals of Canada or permanent residents.
  • Applicants must be entering Masters or Doctoral studies in the summer/fall 2017 semesters.
  • Students transferring from one program to another may also be considered if it contributes to a net increase in student enrollment.
  • Candidates transferring from DVSc to Ph.D. programs are ineligible to apply for OVC Scholarship Competition, 2017.
  • They must be enrolled as full-time students and continue to maintain satisfactory progress for the whole duration.
