University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) is pleased to offer UDE-Scholarships to pursue Bachelor and Master degree program for winter 2017/2018 and summer 2018. International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial help to international students to study in Germany.

With over 43,000 students, the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) is one of the ten largest in the Federal Republic. Their wide range of subjects ranges from the humanities, society and education sciences to economics, engineering, natural sciences, and medicine. Since its foundation in 2003, UDE has developed into a universally recognized research university.

  • Everyone who intends to study at the University of Duisburg-Essen in the winter semester 2016/17 beginning in October (matriculation status will be checked at the beginning of the semester – matriculation at the time of application is not necessary)
  • Unfortunately, PhD students or students of degree courses liable to fees (e.g. Educational Media) cannot apply for a UDE-scholarship in general.

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

For the upcoming Winter Semester, 2017/2018 SRH Hochschule Berlin is awarding 8 performance scholarships to the participants of the scholarship competition.

The competition is aimed at applicants who will start their studies – Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA – this Winter Semester.

SRH Hochschule Berlin is a state-approved private education institution in Berlin which is part of SRH Holding. The university of applied sciences was founded in 2002.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing bachelor, master or MBA programme.

Scholarship Award: The participants who win us over with their creativity and performance will benefit from a €300 decrease in their monthly tuition fees.

Eligibility: Eligible candidates are prospective students aged 18 or higher who already fulfil or will fulfil the admission requirements for the respective study programme until the beginning of the studies (Bachelor: 01.10.2017, Master: 01.92017). Entrance Requirement: Following participation requirements will be considered for the selection of candidates:

  • Complete application documents for a study place at SRH submitted within the deadline (until 31.07.2017), including a current transcript of records (certificate of higher education entrance qualification for bachelor candidates or university certificate/transcript of records for Master candidates)
  • Submission of the written contribution (one pager) with a maximum length of 1 DIN A4 page with the other application documents within the deadline (until 31.07.2017)
  • Optional: submission of a creative contribution as the complement to the one pager with the other application documents within the deadline (until 31.07.2017).

The University of Hamburg is pleased to offer Degree Completion Grants for international students to study in Germany. The maximum funding period for students pursuing Diplom, Magister, Staatsexamen degrees is twelve months.

This scholarship aims to assist high achieving and highly motivated international research scholars at Hamburg University.

Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) is one of the largest of its kind in Germany.

Applicants must have completed their school education outside of Germany or have graduated from a Studienkolleg. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

Course Level: Grants are available to pursue undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: Grants are available in any of the fields offered by the university.

The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology (KoRS-CB) offers 14 new scholarships for doctoral researchers for international students. The research projects at KoRS-CB are carried out in the fields of synthetic chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, biomedicine and bioinformatics.
