Newcastle University is offering MSc Clinical and Health Sciences with Molecular Pathology Bursaries for 2017-2018 academic year. EU and International applicants can apply for these Bursaries.

This Studentship aims to assist high education achieving and highly motivated EU and international students at Newcastle University.

Newcastle University (Officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The University can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery. Newcastle University is a red brick university and is a member of the Russell Group, an association of prestigious research-intensive UK universities.

Course Level: These Bursaries are available to pursue MSc programme.

Study Subject: These Bursaries are awarded in Clinical and Health Sciences with Molecular Pathology.

Scholarship Award: There are a number of bursaries available each worth up to a maximum £2,430 which equates to the Postgraduate Certificate programme tuition fee for the Clinical and Health Sciences with Molecular Pathology programme.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for studentships:

  • Students can apply for the PG Certificate, PG Diploma or MSc in Clinical and Health Sciences in Molecular Pathology.
  • Applicants who are successfully awarded funding must study both of the two molecular pathology-specific modules in their first year of study.
  • Applicants who are successfully awarded funding will be required to contribute to course evaluation. This may include an interview on completion of the course.

Nationality: EU and International applicants can apply for these Bursaries.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Students can apply for the PG Certificate, PG Diploma or MSc in Clinical and Health Sciences in Molecular Pathology.

English Language Requirements:  Students meet the necessary language proficiency requirements of the host institution.

Your personal statement should include the following information:

  • The importance of molecular pathology in modern healthcare (maximum 500 words)
  • Your reasons and motivation for wanting to undertake this programme
  • How successfully completing the programme will assist your personal and professional development
  • What are the likely patient and/or organisation benefits that will result from you successfully completing the programme?

TU Delft University of Technology is delighted to announce its new Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships for international students for the academic year 2017.

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) aims to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. For that reason, it has established several scholarship programmes specifically designed to offer talented and motivated international students the opportunity to pursue a degree at TU Delft.

The Foundation Justus & Louise van Effen was established with the aim of stimulating excellent international MSc students and financially supporting them in their wish to study at TU Delft.

TU Delft collaborates with a large number of other educational and research institutes within the Netherlands and abroad and has a reputation for high-quality teaching and research. TU Delft has extensive contacts with governments, trade organisations, consultancies, the industry and small and medium-sized companies.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue MSc programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in any of the subjects offered by the university. Students applying for any of the TU Delft’s MSc programmes can apply for Excellence Scholarships.

Scholarship Award: Full fee waiver for a TUDelft MSc programme and living expenses for 2 years. Membership to the Scholarship club giving access to personal development, workshops, seminars, etc.

Scholarship can be taken in the Netherlands

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship.

Excellent international applicants admitted to one of TU Delft’s MSc programmes, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university.

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: A bachelor’s degree from a good university, that is comparable in level with a bachelor degree from a research university in the Netherlands in the main subject closely related to the MSc programme to which you are applying, with good grades on the key courses.

English language Requirements: Proof of English language proficiency.

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with an overall Band score of at least 90 and a minimum score of 21 for each section. Please note that we only accept the TOEFL internet-based test.
  • An IELTS (academic version) with an overall Band score of at least 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 for each section.
  • Proof that you have passed the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)exam, the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exam or the Cambridge English: Business Higher (BEC Higher) exam.

 

How to Apply: To be considered for these scholarships, your complete application for an MSc programme must be uploaded before 1 December.

Please, not that non-EU student must include their English test with their application. EU students can submit this in a later stage according to the Admission instructions.

In addition to all the regular documents for an MSc programme application, you must also upload a Scholarship Application Form in which you make clear why you are applying for the scholarship.

Only students meeting this deadline who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the MSc programmes of TU Delft will be considered for these scholarships
