Pittsburg State University is offering PSU Honors College Scholarship, 2017 to incoming freshmen who wish to study at PSU.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of PSU Honors College Scholarship, 2017 must be graduating from a high school with an ACT composite score of at least 28 or  SAT Critical Reading + Math score (CR+M) of at least 1310.
  • Applicants must have completed Kansas pre-college curriculum (or equivalent) with at least a GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Candidates applying for PSU Honors College Scholarship, 2017 who are international students must fulfill the following criteria:
    • TOEFL Score of at least 68 (Internet based)
    • ACT/SAT/National Standardized Test
    • 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Scholarship Award: These scholarships will cover the followings:

  • One direct economy class ticket to the country of study at the commencement of the course, and one return ticket to Barbados on completion of that programme.
  • Full tuition fees, payable directly to the University
  • A book allowance of $1 000 (once);
  • A clothing allowance of $736 (once), applicable for students pursuing studies in cold countries.
  • Living allowance of
  • $6 300 per annum for students pursuing studies in the USA;
  • $5 880 per annum for studies in Canada
  • $7 560 per annum for studies in the United Kingdom.
  • Successful applicants will be required to enter a bond with sureties to return and work in Barbados on completion of the course, on the basis of one year for each year of the award.

Smith Conservation Research Fellowship, 2017 is open to conservation scientists to improve their skills through the postdoctoral research work along with training, peer network and field learning experiences.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants who have completed their doctorate within the past five years or by the time the award is made are eligible for Smith Conservation Research Fellowship, 2017.
  • Candidates who have not yet completed their doctorate must indicate on the application the date the degree is expected.
  • Early-career scientists from around the world are welcome to apply.
